About Jordan trip:
In May 2014, a group of about 10 students from Los Angeles, California's Loyola Marymount University traveled to the Syrian border to work with refugees. We worked with several non-profits that provided services to refugees from Palestine, Syria, and Iraq. We stayed in the beautiful capital city. There, we spent a few days with each organization, to oversee the different kinds of work between Jesuit Refugee Services, a governmental organization and international organizations.
Thank you to Jessica Viramontes, Tatiana Campos, and Leslie Rodrigues for organizing this trip, and to our Jordanian/Palestinian guide, Anas Al-Sharif, who also showed us all around the welcoming country.
